JB is a Marrangu man living and working in the Ramingining Community. JB paints stories from his Dhuwa homeland in northeast Arnhem Land which have been passed on from his ancestors. JB has painted Wuldulbal/badju (bream) swimming down to hide underneath a rock. The cross-hatching style is a traditional painting style of this area and here it represents water.
